Spring 2018: Housing Application Timeline (new students only)



Housing applications open November 1 to December 1, or until all spaces have been assigned.

Review the information below to help you complete the housing process.

  • How to complete the Room Selection Process.​ (Not available for spring 18) 
  • New and Readmitted students should be pre-registerd for the Spring 18 semester.
Once the application requirements (payment) and application process (housing agreement/update personal information) have been completed students will be given an assignment by the Central Housing Office staff. All assignments will be completed by December 15, 2017.

Application Requirements

  • You must be accepted to Alabama A&M University before applying for housing.

  • A $350 housing fee is required before you are eligible to apply for housing. The fees include $100 nonrefundable application fee, and $250 refundable deposit.

  • Pay your fees at aamu.afford.com if the link does not work, cut and paste the following link into your browser http://aamu.afford.com/paynow?storeid=453 (allow 48 hrs for your payment to post to your account)
